There's a particular kind of love most of us don't quite know what to do with.
The way you feel about a pet who curls up against you in the morning. A grandmother whose photos sit on your shelf. A child whose face you'd recognize in any crowd. A partner you've been figuring out the world with for years.
Tails exists for that feeling.
What we make
Cards illustrated from photos of the ones you love.
We make personalized tarot and oracle decks. Each card features them, in their own way, woven into the imagery and meaning of the deck. You upload a photo. We turn it into something you can hold, shuffle, and return to.
The craft
How a deck becomes a deck
Every Tails deck starts with a photo and ends as a complete, custom-illustrated card set. In between, our system reimagines the subject across every card — sometimes 78 for tarot, sometimes 44 for oracle. Each one a different scene, mood, and meaning.
The work uses generative tools we've built and refined over months — but the soul of the project is older than the technology: the impulse to put someone you love at the center of something beautiful.
We make digital decks, printed decks, and a Collector's Edition for those who want something heirloom.Everything is one of one. No two decks we've ever made are the same.

A note from the founder
I started Tails because I wanted a deck of my own pet, and nothing like this existed.
I'm a solo founder building this from Paris, working with an extraordinary set of tools and an even better community of customers who keep telling me what to make next. Every deck that goes out the door still feels like the first one to me.
